I'm on my way out to dinner, but I think I will take this serious and give honest answers when I get back, so everyone doesn't think I'm a COMPLETE assclown.

1) Do you think that he world is generally headed in the wrong direction or the right direction?
on a whole, I think everything is in a constant state of decay. Thermodynamics and all that mathematical shit prove it. Sooooo, even with evolution and the sort, I guess it's a sort of "downward spiral" with highs and lows, but always on a constant slide south.... 2) What childhood memory do you treasure the most? hmmmmm, believe it or not, I had a rough childhood. My father was an alcoholic drug addict that had a tendency to take his frustrations out on both my mother and myself. Mom had a nervous breakdown when I was around 10. Most of my time was spent finding ways to escape the shitty reality of everyday life. Comic books provided a safe refuge. 3) What are you biggest regrets about your experience as a parent? How do you think you could have changed that? I haven't regretted much in my life. I tend to view it all as life lessons. I do regret not raising them within the confines of the traditional family. You know...mom, dad, son, daughter....I try to do the best I can with the split custody that I have, however, I'd give anything to be able to be around them every day the way I used to....but this situation wasn't all my own doing, so I guess I can't take FULL regret for it..... 4) You’ve said the org has helped you deal with your homophobia. Could you see yourself being friends with a gay man? explain if I'm being honest, I'd have to say I probably could manage. I guess I've come to the conclusion that I only really learn things about myself when I'm in unfamilar situations. I'm sure with maturity came the rational thought that just because a man is gay does not mean he wants to suck my dick all the time. In fact, due to the conflict they have gone through in life, they may just offer some great words of advice during times of stress. Or, be an incredible friend. I'm looking forward to seeing how my attitude evolves on this subject..... 5) What are your primary goals for this year? Are you on the path to achieving them? I tend to make very small, acheivable goals in life. For 2006, my only real goal is to get a vehicle. Yes, I am on the path to getting it. 6) What does the org do for you? the org provides me with an audience for my stupid one liners and jokes. It also provides me with some incredible laughs as so many of you are hilarious. Even still, it has provided me with a handful of "friends" that I would not have had any chance of knowing in life if it were not for a shared interest in Prince. It also provides me with tons of chicks to flirt with.

1) When you let your beard grow out, you mentioned in a thread that it was a bad time in your life. How do you crawl out of these "Bad times?". Is it just letting time do it's usual healing through numbing pain and forgetting. Or were you sick of feeling bad? or both? oh, this one is easy to answer. I don't think I ever really crawl out of the feeling. It's more of a ebb and tide type thing. I'm a master at hating myself, been at it for a good twenty something years now. So, it kind of just lingers, then I'll feel better for a bit. It always returns though 2) Do you really dislike all the attention I pay to you on hear? explain as you know from orgnotes, IM's and emails, no, I do not dislike it. I find 99% of it hilarious. I never have, nor will I ever, take anything that happens on a message board, to heart. In fact, I've mentioned before, some of the conversations we have had before actually have inspired me to be better. 3) What is the your number one biggest wish for each of your children? Do you think you can help them get this? This is another easy one. I just want them to grow up to be WELL ADJUSTED and happy. I have issues. Anyone that really knows me knows this. My parents had issues. Their mother has issues. Her parents had issues. Unless you come from a similar dysfunctional family, it's hard to grasp just how difficult this makes everyday life. So, I wish for them to break that cycle and be one of those elusive "happy" people. 4) Rome Fell, The Otoman Empire Fell, even the Dynasty's of China fell. Do you believe the "American Experiment" will suffer the same fate? Or do you believe that it will eventually export itself to the rest of the world. I actually did a report on this waaaaay back in my senior year of high school. It was titled "Greater Empires Than Ours Have Fallen". The last remaining world super power known as the good old U. S. of A. will face a time when it all comes crumbling down, of that I am sure. I don't think it will happen anytime in the near future, but it is inevitable. There are too many things already in motion that will be the end of us. 5) You said once that you were lonely. What do you do to cope? I try to keep busy. Do things with friends. Hang out with my family. Read. Play video games. Just about anything to keep my mind from being idle. If not, I'll sit and brood. Then I'll either get depressed or angry. Neither of which is an enjoyable time for me. This isn't how I wanted my life to turn out, so it's tough sometimes.
