When sleeping with the missus........ Ok, i got a new girlfriend (finially), and i find that sharing her double bed can be a bit annoying for me:-
a) She'll hit me when she's sleeping b) She hogs the covers c) if i dare to wake her up, she'll bite my head off. d) She talks in her sleep (which can be funny) e) rolls over (though its not her fault) Now i talk in my sleep too (apparantly), but i just get a tad annoyed with those thing stated above. Anyone else have little problems like that when sharing or when u have shared a bed? "i sleep much better in someone elses bed"

Ex-Moderator | For me it depends on who it is and how comfortable I am with them. I've slept in beds with guys I just wanted to kick out and I've slept soundly with someone doing all of the above mentioned and it didn't really bother me much.

As we both still live with our parents, we dont share a bed every night, which is fine by me. We've only been going out for about 3 weeks, but i just tried it about a week ago (we'd been friends for ages before hand) I wonder if anyone can give any advice?

Ya, I just don't like to be touched or even near anyone when I am trying to sleep. Advice? Hrm....pretty much you either have to accept it or spend sleepytime in seperate beds. There is not much you can do to change the way you or she sleeps.

They get hella annoyed too. My brother threw a snooker ball at me just a while back when i asked him if he had a bus timetable? [Edited 5/3/06 20:18pm]

i adore sleeping next to a man....
cuddling all night long, keeps you warm, i love to feel their skin next to mine, i love to feel them breath, i especially loved my ED he used to snore like crazy.... as did my ex husband... i loved that sound - it was comforting also, i love middle of the night and first thing in the morning sex you know, the kind when you dont even think about what youre doing.... your bodies just kinda move towards each other, no talking, no asking, just crazy - half asleep, NOW IM WIDE AWAKE.... sex One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111
love is a gift an artist with no fans is really just a man with a hobby....

I have no advice... but your story makes me glad I'm grown & have a king sized bed

first of all, if you've got a double, get a queen or a king is even better.
secondly, you'll get used to it. sleeping alone, 10,000 miles from your girl for 7 months is much worse.
