I'm going to be 34 this year and I'm not exactly "down" with "the kids"... So what's hip and happening in the world of Planet Popular?

I've seen a lot of brown corduroy recently. Is that going to be de rigeur this summer?

What about food? What's the new faddy diet that everybody will be eating?

Is reggae finally going to make a comeback this year? I keep hearing lots of ska-type tunes, but is that passe now?

I'm 23 and don't have a clue about what's in and what's out. Hell, I don't even have a TV

It gets too hot here in the summer for corduroy, but brown is definitely a hot color.

the general trend towards dressing/acting "edgier/more punk/wannabe xcore-ish" (which translates into hot topic making even more money than usual)...such as boys wearing supertight jeans.

emo-y, fringey dyed black hair on boys & girls

i dunno if this is just where i live, but girls (and some guys) buy a TON of things from Hollister. over 3/4's of my roommate's clothes are from that store.

just the things that came to mind.

hollister has some cute stuff...i just don't get why so many people i know wear it from head to toe. to me, it kinda seems like they're trying too hard for the "so-cal" image.

There's going to be a huge Reggae concert in Toronto with BSC and Damian Marley,Gonna be good.
Bedouinsoundclash are DJs for the Toronto Cannibis Fest coming up soon.
