I went to school with Kim Clijsters, the Belgian tennisstar. We had a fight over the last waffle in the schoolshop once. She bought it, finally.

She was pretty different... for want of a better word, more "frumpy" and she had frizzy hair in a bun. And played violin. Think she wore glasses, too... a little nerdish actually!

As mentioned on another thread: she wanted me to go out with her back then, and we were pretty close friends... but she wasn't really my type at the time... she did kiss me though, with gum in her mouth; without my consent.

Not in touch with her anymore now she's famous... emailed her once but got not reply, so... whatever.... but I see her mum occasionally, who has been my sister's singing teacher of late.

first i was dragged into a van where they did headshots and then
i was propped up for the class picture. i looked so horrible in
