Have you ever had this happen....Random thought

Have any of you ever had a boyfriend call you by their ex's name...this happened to me once. Luckily the name I was called was the same as my sister's name, so I could not get to mad, cause my mom calls me by her name all of the time. Anyway...I laughed at first...but then I was like "What the Fuck...you ass", then I felt bad... sad

Just curious if I am the only one this happened to, and really what does it mean? hmmm

An ex-girlfriend of mine once called me by her ex's name. Fortunately his name is exactly the same as mine. This happened a few times.

sad

"Hey, I used to know a girl named -----"
"That's cool, many people confuse the two names"
"Yeah, funny coincidence, so tell me about urself"

[insert chitchat]

"So, can u do me a favor?"
"Depends, what kind of favor?"

[insert potential hopeful date,time,venue,activity]

Well, I don't think it has to mean something, necessarily. For example, relatives have sometimes said my cousin's name instead of mine or it's happened that I've called one of my best friends by another friend's name (oops). Sometimes your brain isn't working alright, so don't get suspicious. Though if he does it several more times than you can worry. Until then, try not to read too much into it!

You shouldn't get mad. It's a mistake. My mom calls me by my brother's name all the time.

I'm living with a very good friend right now. Her recent boyfriend is an old ex of mine. Not a real ex, we just had fun making love for a few months, four years ago.

He has been calling my friend 'Marie' a few times when I was around. Very embarrassing.

Speaking as one who has called his wife by another name...it happened because I was thinking of the other person. Plain truth

The great thing is that I've only been with two girls in my life and they've both got pretty much the same name, so in the second case when it got heated I was always able to add the last syllable "Mari..- ah" when needed. Gave me so much possibilities for my imagination wink

Actually, I'm dead serious. Somebody lock me up. eek
