my dog i starting to show his age

my 9 year old pitbull's jaw is starting droop and there are strands of gray hair on his face now...some days he barely moves, and some days he's running around the house with my 5 year old pitbull. i know he's like 63 years old in people years, so i'm getting a little concerned.
that's all
sad

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

I know your pain only too well. My dog is been in decline for a couple of years now. It's sad when you think about it. Just spend some time with him. Love him like he might be gone tomorrow.

My dog is now 13 cry

He walks with a limp. He smells funny. All he does is sleep most of the time.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

Apollo is my second "major" dog (as in owned for more than 5 years). my first had a complicated pregnancy and died after giving birth to 4 stillborn puppies while i wa at work. i came home and found her dead that afternoon. needless to say, i was a total basket case. so everytime i come home and see Apollo just laying there i get a panic attack , and then he raises his head up, looks at me with that "what is your problem" look and then lays back down. and farts. wink

i don't know how to upload pics from my own pc file, but he looks exactly like this dog on the right( i actually thought this was him for a minute smile )

oh no! what a traumatic experience. Just love him and spend as much time as you can, tell him and show him that you love him. I do that with my boy and he's only 4. My kitty is getting old though, he's 10 sad
