What terrible officiating - the worst I've seen except for the no-goal game Strict rules for the Sabres and almost no rules for the Canes.
Looked like Pay Off hockey, seen that happen before. Oh well Carolina 4

Sabres are hurting pretty badly, Teppo Numinen is out now. Still no sign of Tim Connolly returning.

Oh and congrats to the Oilers . Anybody that beats Anaheim is OK by me.

they were just reviewing the duck goal that made the score 4-1 oilers and then the ducks managed to score 2 more in 4 minutes or so!!

Buffalo won game three 4-3. Second period might have been the best they played in a long time.
We had our first outdoor concert of the summer.showed those Canes how we party around here. Too bad they had to go back to their hotel for curfew.
Last call is at 4:00 AM in Buffalo. Playoff tickets are going for $400 a seat here and they culd sell 45,000 of them.Easy.

Tallinder's arm was broken the other night.
Sabres are playing without three of their best defense players.

yeah shelley your guys are getting beat up but it's not showing on the ice yet is it?? the other night during the part of the game i watched no one could seem to stay out of the damn penalty box for very long

mach honey the cbc has elected to play an old episode of "fraiser" instead of broadcasting the game for me so you will have to let me know how they are doing

It sure showed tonight. Bad game for my guys. There were two players called up from the Rochester Amerks to play, it was one guy's first start in the NHL !!
The Canes are doing a good job with a little help from the refs. Actually the officials seem to be better the last two games, so I won't complain about them TOO much .I like the way the Canes play, they understand the new hockey.

Sorry the Oilers didn't sweep, but that means more hockey to watch, doesn't it?

A side note- Miller's nephew in Michigan is very ill with Leukemia. Miller has his name on the back of his helmet. There's been a lot of fund raising here for the Leukemia Society in his name.He is an incredible human being.

canes won in overtime 4-3

It was a pretty good game.....still crappy officiating for BOTH teams.

The Sabres won 2-1 overtime. The officiating was much better in this game. Teppo Numminen was back for 4 minutes in the first quarter.
At least 1 more game.
