Comic fans - Infinite Crisis? yay or nay? To tell you the truth, I'm usually pretty sold on DC and their stories but the actual 'Crisis' did not live up to the hype.
i actually enjoyed Identity Crisis better. anyone else feeling underwhelmed by this series?

I'm liking it, but I'm not floored by it. Here's why:
So many cross-overs. While bad on the wallet, it allows the story to be fully fleshed out. Day of Vengence, for example. Unfortunately, it also turns the later issues of Infinite Crisis itself become a "Highlight" reel with a big cliffhanger ending. The best single issue out of it all is the Kal-L vs Kal-El fight as it was extended out in the Superman comic. But I've really been turned off by the One Year Later being released BEFORE the last TWO issues of IC come out! Insanity! Another thing I don't get is Superboy Prime being so powerful that Conner was almost killed. Then we find out that they both were holding back. Well, SBP was MOVING PLANETS. Then he shows up and has a suit that is specially enfusing him with Yellow Sunlight and Conner is able to push him around! And bloody his mouth! Insanity! I'm hoping for a big payoff with the next issue. I guess it's SBP vs EVERYBODY as a finale. I love a big battle, so I hope this lives up to expectations. Personaly, I'm digging the Marvel: Annhilation crossover event as well as the Planet Hulk arc. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

ya all that seems strange. like where the hell did he get that suit from. some things are just unexplained. i suppose they will be sorte dout in the future in different books and things.
i'm not a Marvel person, but i'm tempted by this Civil War series.
