my kids both have sony's

they seem to work great

just took it for a jog

sunny day-couldnt read a bloody word on the screen

and the sound??i had it full blast and still i could probably have a conversation!!

how do i make it louder??

I've got a pink NW-A1000! It doesn't have as many GB as yours, but it's still enough and it's really a beautiful and cool player! Looks and is much better than the ipod almost everyone has.

Seriously, I was like everyone else first and wanted an ipod, but then when I was out looking for one during christmas and, of course, they had only the black and white ones left and they looked so utterly boring. So when the salesman showed me the Sony player and told me about it it was quite obvious which one I'd choose.
