news is completely f'd up. Not only do they talk about irrelevant entertainment issues, but they also talk about irrelevant tragedy.

It's not news to me if a woman 2000 miles from me cooks & eats her dog, or some person is randomly killed by falling garbage. Now, if people are being targeted by snipers in the city I live, that's news, or if our president is committing crimes against humanity, that's news.

however, the "silly" reality tv show you are referring to is the ability to watch a person make their dreams come true, i dont think this falls into the same situation as say 'big brother' or 'tempation island'. these people are working hard to have a name for themselves and find their way in a chance to become something that like it or not, will effect us all in the end

you will hear these people again, somewhere, somehow, even if you dont want to, you will hear the music again

i guess i'd have to say that when watching the news, its up to each person to 'block out' what they dont care about and tune into the things that they do
