They don't give a rat's ass. They have us right where they want us - it's truly criminal. But I believe in karma... but I am also an impatient soul I am seriously going to make it a point to purchase a hybrid car in the future. The less $ I can give them the better I'll sleep at night. Thats roughly £4:45 GBP Per Gallon for Diesel and £4:36 for Petrol. That sucks! I know we in the US don't have it quite as bad as that (but headed there). I live in Calif/LA - where life is horribly inconvenient (to say the least) if you do not own a car (ask Supa - he suffered for a year without one). We are getting stiffed pretty badly here on prices compared to the rest of the country. Why? Because they can. VOTE....EARLY

so stop driving your cars if possible (notice i said "possible" and not "convenient") or start car pooling and sharing costs. the prices continue to go up because people continue to pay and put up with it.
everybody wants a revolution but nobody wants to start it.

everybody wants a revolution but nobody wants to start it. I love how you would ask me or Dr. Rock to fund and build and invent a whole new transit system for LA. In the meantime, we have no other choice than to drive..... 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

In the meantime, we have no other choice than to drive..... you don't have any co-workers with cars? you don't have any friends with cars? seems to me LA is a driver's city. that would mean a lot of people have vehicles. that would mean the potential for car pooling is pretty great. look, sweets, don't get all pissy with me and pretend that i'm the first person who's ever suggested car pooling. you'll need to get over that shit right quick. i think gas prices are ridiculous. i'm merely making some obvious suggestions. i'm not asking anyone to build shit so get that straight (if you can). i'm saying take some freaking initiative and do something (if its at all possible) or "quit yer bitching and eat yer pizza," as anna nicole smith would say.

I live and work in different counties so no, I don't have co-workers in my neighborhood. I didn't have a car for 22 months and did the train and bus that whole time, my commute being about 7 hours per day. My commute!. I don't need an education on all the things that can be done AS I HAVE DONE THEM. I already know all this. IN LA YOU NEED A CAR PERIOD! SupaFunkyOrgangrinderSexy said: purpledisc said: Bloody Expensive to run wheels at that !!!!! Seriously! Thank Goodness I get almost 400 miles to my tank U want to hear how Californians are getting PLAYED? Check this out. In Cali there is a clean air act which requires every gallon of gas to have this clean air solution in it. In order to add the solution you have to "subtract' gas. In other words a percentage of each gallon of gas you buy is the solution and NOT gas which makes the car function. Anyway.....when I was in Cali my BMW got about 320 highway miles per tank on an 18 gallon tank of gas. When I move to Georgia, where that clean air mess in NOT required in the gas, I'm getting about 500 miles per tank. Add to that the price of gas which averages about 25 to 50cents less per gallon. Isn't that crazy?
