lol Nothing is set in stone yet. I don't even want to really talk about it in case I chicken out or if something goes wrong! But I'm either going to room with someone or get a studio apt. It's expensive to live in Boston!!

yeah! your moving back to boston??!! good to hear and WTF I'm jealous now! I was just about to say...
I'm a QA software technician...whippy ding! If I didn't care about the stability and benefits at this job, I'd LOVE to be a bartender!! something about the atmosphere behind the bar! I love it! I love the sink, the glass washer thingy..all of it.

I never lived IN Boston, south of it. The boy lived there and I spent weekends. But it's time. I"m scared to leave the security of my job now, health insurance, retirement, vacation time...but I'm not happy. I can make some bank if I bartend and I"ll just pay more for health insurance through the restaraunt I will hopefully be working for.

I'm really nervous but it's now or never. And if it fails I can always get a job at Harvard. I have enough experience in administrative work in a college. Ahhhh!!!!

well, you know what I mean...you'll be back in Mass! yippee!
good luck carrie! I'm sure you'll be an awesome bartender! lot's of tips baby!
"not a fan" falloff yeah...ok

as much as the day-to-day shit sucks...the benefits are sweet as hell....am i right!!??

what airline??

wink

Unfortunately its a low cost airline (easyjet)and so I get no benefits, because the plane tickets are already cheap. sad what airline do you work for?

Air Canada

our ticket prices are pretty high so the benefit of staff standby is fantastic...plus we have a large fleet and fly all over the world.

wink

WOW!, you've got my respect razz . Do you see any stars or exciting things in artist development?

Sometimes...I get to go to tons of shows but mostly my focus is Music Retail..both physical retail (Tower, Virgin) and Online as well. I have seen many of our artists back when they were just starting out...Joss Stone, Nikka Costa, Coldplay, Morningwood, KT Tunstall, Aaliyah (2 weeks before she died), Starsailor, Bubba Sparxxx..just to name a few....and I've met a few of the big ones too..Norah Jones, Keith Urban, Stones, Queen Latifah...no Janet yet..but I'm hopin with the next record I'll be able to meet her!

It's a fun job...The famed Capitol Records tower in Hollywood is where our head office is.

any chance you could pass my music on or something?

warum bist Du denn ausgewandert?

Lucky you! Though I wouldn't fly standby, because if the flight is full you have to wait for the next one.
