I'm a salesman in what we call the yachting-industry, selling sailcloth to be exactly. We're selling sailcloth to all major sailmakers, and small ones as well, around the world. We're the main spinnaker-cloth supplier for the boats that participate in the Volvo Ocean Race and America's Cup.
It's ok, but I've been doing it too long, time for something new....it will have to be sales again, it's all I can.

Currently I work at Brown University. I've been here for 7 years and am sooo sick of an office job that I'm quitting in a few months, moving to Boston and bartending. Probably go to cosmetology school during the day once I'm settled.

I'm scared shit.

I never lived IN Boston, south of it. The boy lived there and I spent weekends. But it's time. I"m scared to leave the security of my job now, health insurance, retirement, vacation time...but I'm not happy. I can make some bank if I bartend and I"ll just pay more for health insurance through the restaraunt I will hopefully be working for.

I'm really nervous but it's now or never. And if it fails I can always get a job at Harvard. I have enough experience in administrative work in a college. Ahhhh!!!!

lol Nothing is set in stone yet. I don't even want to really talk about it in case I chicken out or if something goes wrong! But I'm either going to room with someone or get a studio apt. It's expensive to live in Boston!!
