Do you see any stars or exciting things in artist development?Sometimes...I get to go to tons of shows but mostly my focus is Music Retail..both physical retail (Tower, Virgin) and Online as well. I have seen many of our artists back when they were just starting out...Joss Stone, Nikka Costa, Coldplay, Morningwood, KT Tunstall, Aaliyah (2 weeks before she died), Starsailor, Bubba Sparxxx..just to name a few....and I've met a few of the big ones too..Norah Jones, Keith Urban, Stones, Queen Latifah...no Janet yet..but I'm hopin with the next record I'll be able to meet her! It's a fun job...The famed Capitol Records tower in Hollywood is where our head office is. Every minute of last night is on my face today.... | |
