Ladies: Which Two Characteristics Make You "Pay Attention" To A Man The Quickest? (just added 2 more) I'm not asking which two characteristics you're looking for the most...or which two characteristics you think are (or should be) the most valuable in a partner...I'm just talking those first characteristics that seem to catch your "attention" the most...as well as the attention of your heart and your, um, body (heh)...you're just drawn to guys who possess these two qualities more than any of the others listed.
So out of the list below, which two characteristics seem to always get you paying more attention to a guy the quickest? Sense of humor Looks His job/career Intelligence Cockiness Shyness Sincerity His clothes His voice Shows you immediate and constant attention Shows you almost no attention Artistic/Talented Athletic/Active Being a gentleman Being a "bad boy" Take-charge type Romantic Older man Younger man Which combination of two would be like kryptonite to you?...lol [Edited 4/21/06 17:40pm]

Sense of humor and Intellegence are key for me.
Shyness or cockiness are my kryptonite. Too much of either creeps me out. I'm firmly planted in denial

Sense of humor (<-- I'm cheating here, 'cause I don't generally think people are funny unless they are wicked smart. . . two-for-one) I'd agree! And that's after I've had a chance to check someone out and spend time with them. But if I'm being completely honest, the 2 that grab my attention are clothes and voice. Not that I'm looking for a particular look, just that when I see someone well put together, no matter what the style, it draws me in. And the right voice can make me melt, no matter what is being said. [Edited 4/21/06 15:39pm] |

I kinda like that it wasn't...

for me, sense of humour, looks because of the initial attraction, I'm not saying that they have to be good looking but we all look at person and either find them physically attractive or not, which is largely subjective.
definitely intelligence.

By the way, I was on another message board site earlier this afternoon, and a talk was going on about some guy in Florida and his MySpace profile..lol...anyway, someone in the thread said a generalized statement of "The types of guys most women go for initially are the ones who are (blank) and (blank)"...I was curious if he was right..
So far, though, on this thread he's pretty much wrong...lol

Great thread idea!
For me, the two characteristics would be: Artistic/Talented (I love artsy men, they rock! ) Sense of humor (can't stand men who can't laugh at things that are funny) RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
