I don't think they will have a better trifecta than Fantasia/Latoya London/Jennifer Hudson. America fucked up and ruined a great contest. Surely there are more talented singers out in America. Some of these cats are good but I know everyday people that can outsing most of those fools. I was very happy when Fantasia won, and her solo CD was very good.
The current season of American Idol got fucked up when Mandisa got voted off, IMHO. Sure she had a weight problem, but she was the best singer out of all of them. I have not had the same feeling for watching this show since then, sad to say.  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

AI is on in couple hrs here in Cali.....I was a IDOL sucker for Seasons 2-4..but this one has lost me...Mandisa was the best (dont know about all the homophobic hoopla though...)
As for the rest...Kellie Pickler needs to go...her country-bumpkin ass is just getting on my nerves....I think it's an act..but then again...I think she's THAT dumb...she butchered every song...especially 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and Randy had the gall to praise that shitty performance... This year...the show has gone koo koo....Ryan and Paula dont get along and there is tension and Paula is just sinking before our very eyes..what a mess...I think Simon is getting embarrassed by her actics because he's not commenting on her stupid comments as much as he used to. Pauls's no laughing matter anymore.... peace Every minute of last night is on my face today.... | |

She alienated a good chunk of her fanbase....the week she was eliminated she did an online interview with the Advocate and tried to make it seem that she really doesnt know much about homosexuality but her religion tells her it's wrong (the shit we've heard ova and ova again)...the final question was would she be comfortable singing at a gay festival...she said she would not be comfortable.
