Proxy codes

Plz help My evil school block some sites and I need to get around them!


They should look some thing like this Http proxy 194.150.253.186 port 8080

You can try Steganos Internet Anonymizer or Hide IP Plus perhaps. Not sure if they would work in your situation though. Also, you might want to check the hosts file on the computer, its located at (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC). One way to prevent you from accessing certain sites, is to block them with the hosts file, you can read more about how it works at http://www.mvps.org/winhe...hosts.htm. Keep in mind though, whoever manages the computers and networks at your school will still be able to find out what sites you've been surfing even if you are going through a proxy.

kind of a workaround, but if you have a computer at home, you could remotely access it from school with a free program called LogMeIn (www.logmein.com). So you would actually be browsing sites from your home computer instead, which the school would have no control over.
