Beautiful words

If you want to read books written by an author who just writes beautifully, I'd like to suggest "Fortunate Son", and any of the "Easy Rawlins" series of books. They are written by Walter Mosley, and I got turned onto him a couple of years ago.
All I can say is the words he chooses to describe things are just incredible.

Fortunate Son is about two boys who grow up under one roof, one white, one black..and how their paths divert and reconvene...
The Easy Rawlins books are about life in Los Angeles from 1960 on, for the hero who's black and gets in and out of trouble..
