i really wanna try a george foreman grill out, my friend has one and she swears by them.... anyone use one ????? are they worth the money ???? i heard that cuisinart has a model out that might be better....


any thoughts ?

A good knife and a wire whisk. Honestly, those are my favorites. I almost never have use for anything else.

a wooden spatula stirrer thingy...it's good for stir fry, for using whilst making lasagna...and for serving...

i got a foreman grill as a present from my job a couple years back. i made grilled cheese with it a few times, then stashed it away. maybe if i ate meat i would use it more.

my favorite kitchen thingie is my wok. i use it for just about everything, not just stir fry. i make my sauteed tofu/veggies/simmer sauce stuff in it, and i've even used it to make an extra-chunky homemade spaghetti sauce.

they are the absolute best!



i love to give these spoons and knives away as gifts... when you find something great you just have to share it!
i can be a gadget freak... i have all the little tools to cut veggies nice and crap like that

Someone just got me a Kitchenaid mixer, and that saves a lot of sweat.

I like my hand blender, which has a little food processor attachment, as well. Only $20.

One of the best investments I made was a new potato peeler! The one I had was like 25 years old, and I had no idea how hard I was working to peel those damn things until I got a new one.

I almost never use my whisk.

I would not care to continue life without a good knife (I'm fond of the Cutco petite carver), a big nonstick frying pan, a large lidded saucepan, my wooden spoon/spatula, and my electric teakettle. I'd also prefer to have my can opener and splatter screen. I could really do without the rest of it.
