Anybody else watch this show? I just discovered it a couple weeks ago and am now officially addicted.

Plot Outline: Big Love centres around a polygamist (Bill Paxton) and his relationship with the three wives, all whom he is married to.

And after having seen the list of actors I am REALLY curious...

Bill Paxton, Chloë Sevigny, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Bruce Dern...

i saw one episode but now i can't remember what time it's on. oh well. it seemed interesting and reminded me of six feet under just a little bit. maybe i'll catch it again.

I watch it. Its OK, nothing to rave about. I guess I just cant get passed the whole multiple wives thing. I was in Utah about a month ago. I stuck out like a sore thumb. I had the weirdest feeling the whole time I was there.

I don't watch the show. Guess I should to see what spin they've put on it. My husband is no longer allowed to watch the show. Something about it gets him pissed at all our co-workers and he teases them about it.

We're not LDS, and not Utah natives so it is a bit like being a fish out of water.

I remember sitting on the metro waiting to get back to the JCP building. I was sitting at the end of the line, right outside the mall. Lots of kids on the metro. They are very plain looking (no offense). Lots of long dresses and goth look. Just not used to it . Like I said, I really stood out.

i like the show... i missed a few of the shows... i work with a lotta peeps that are LDS and they ain't sayn much bout it

shucks the only other shows that i was addicted to on HBO with the exception of The Sopranos, are all cancelled....

HamsterHuey: one of the reasons I think I enjoy this show so much is because I was already a fan of so many of the cast members. Bruce Dern is especially good, Harry Dean Stanton (he is terrific as the creepy The Prophet), Chloe Sevigny , Bill Paxton -- and I was not that familiar with Jeanne Tripplehorn before watching thise show, but I grow to like her more with each episode. Also the girl who played Deb in Napoleon Dynamite plays a friend of Bill and Jeanne's daughter and I really like her, too.

The religious aspect and the dynamic of a polygamous arrangement are both interesting, but with each week the characters each become more developed and layered and the plot/s more complex, and that's what's sucked me in also.

I don't get hooked on current TV series very often anymore these days, so that's one of the reasons I was so glad to have stumbled across a show I enjoy.

Oh, it's a series? I thought it was some kinda documentary or sumthin'.

I might have to bittorrent that . . .

Polygamists in Utah ARE Fundamental LDS and not acknowleged by the LDS church. There's not been any protests, but, if in Utah and you REEEEEALLY want to start a heated conversation...compare the Utahn's you're with to those in "Big Love."
