This weekend I watched 20-something episodes of the first season. I really really like the show. I'm falling in love with Jesse Metcalf all over again.
And I'm sorry but Marcia Cross has got to be the most beautiful woman on the show.

I like the show,I need to start over from the beginning,I've missed more than a few episodes.

i only saw one. and that was the second one in the first episode.

I LOVE that show!! I think were about halfway through the second season here. Its not quite as exciting as the first but gripping all the same!!

My favourite is Lynette, shes cool

On the second to the last episode he kinda tripped me out. He told the minister all this crazy stuff about how, in my interpretation, he's bisexual and that he plans to act all nice and respectful towards his mom and then later destroy her by doing something crazy....*breath*

this show jumped the shark at the end of last season..maybe earlier

I find it repetitive. I just can't lose myself in it.

I love the show! My favourite is Gabriel/Eva L.
Besides her being absolutely gorgeous I just dig her marriage!!! They're so made for each other!

Season One wes really really good. Nice and Delicious. I actually clapped when I saw Alfre Woodard join the cast. It was such an excellent show.

This season, Marc Cherry has been on sabatical for most of it (I reckon he's out of hiding now). Creatively this show has slumped over itself. Clearly they did not have a mystery to follow once last season's was solved. They clearly renigged on the Alfre Woodard thing...Um what exaclty was her mystery? Yeah really failed to deliver on that one...though it could be due to the untimely firing of the guy who played her son.

I attribute much of the demis this season (the show is acually still pulling in good ratings despite this...and Greys anatomy helped so very much) to the following...

Alfre Woodard story going poof...unnessarily so, she's a great actress and they could have written her into the story line better.

No Husbands. There I said it. Not having the gals to bounce off of someone (Rex's demise was wise...but not good for the show)

Rarely have the gals gotten together. This was an asset that's been clearly devoid. The best times are when they get together.


Now there have been a few episodes that I thought were good and actually made me chuckle...but not many. I think the show has a few other issues like SUSAN and her being a MOTHER. Not tapping into the talents of the kids. The only one that gets any screen time...Andrew. WHat about his sister? You know the one that is alluded to dating Betty's son and the one who the other son is creepily after? Talk about a lost plot! Or Zach? Or Julie (who I love!)

SSB- I gotta co-sign all you said. I still am a fan but this season has been all over the place.


And, Andrew was driving me crazy but his BF is a total hottie. And I rarely like the twinkies.
