Whose ur favorite athlete? I guess I'm kinda biased since I'm originally from Detroit, but I'm watching the Pistons beat the hell out of the Bucks and Rip Hamilton is my favorite B-ball player. My favorite athlete of all time has to be the greatest Muhammed Ali or Cassius Clay whatever floats your boat . Do you like any sports? If you do, who is your favorite player?

In basketball, always used to be #21 Dominique Wilkins. Now I like a few players - Lebron James, Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash. Always loved watching Shawn Kemp too. Guys these days rarely dunk in games like he did.
In athletics I liked Carl Lewis. Now I don't follow it much though. In motorsport, Michael Schumacher. Just a supreme talent. In football, it has to be Steven Gerrard (PFA Player of the Year )

Me too, but that's probably because after around '99 or so I didn't follow basketball for a few years and when I started again a couple of years ago I didn't know who was who and found it hard to get back into it. Great players from when I watched were now limping on for 5 minutes here and there and I didn't know who all these young bucks were. I'm just getting back up to speed now. Is it me or despite all the stuff in the slam dunk competition are the dunks in actual games now just not what they were when Wilkins, Jordan, Kemp and others were throwing it down? I mean, you get the odd Vince Carter dunk over somebody, but Kemp used to do that all the time. Nearly all the dunks now seem to be wide-open fast break dunks and uncontested alley-oops.

I haven't paid much attention for about a decade now. I have no idea who most of the players are. But I still get sucked in around this time every year cuz my bro's constantly got the playoffs on. Go Pistons!
