I thought here on the .org it was the straight guys that were living the alt lifestyle.

lol

hmmm You may be on to something.

Seriously, the only 'non-gay' forum I visit with more gay content than the org is the Doctor Who message board.

Quite simply, I mean how many members are gay or lesbian wink. It's not a big deal and it doesn't bother me, but I just wanted to know.

Uh, I wouldn't call that alternative.

But to answer, a lot. There may even be a higher proportion of queer people here than in general society.

So, would you say that the % is more than 40%? You don't think that queer is a bad term?

alternativce lifestyles makes me think of people who willing live as sexual "slaves", walk around on a leash all day, and live in a castle with a vegan chef or something. i mean, to me alternative lifetsyle really implies something that is way out there and not homosexual relationships, which just seem very ho-hum and run of the mill to me.

And my best friend Admiral is gay...or at least bi.

I like to have sex with bi-sexual women. Does that grant me alternative status? Do I get affrimative action? Don't oppress me!

Like I said I just want to know. That is okay isn't it? I mean to want to be knowledgeable about aspects like this that affect people's lives and to answer your question-were all human so why shouldn't I care?

More than 40%? I dunno. To even begin to ballpark that I'd have to know exactly how many Orgers there are, and I don't.

There are no bad words, IMO. They're good or bad depending on context. In an environment like the Org that's generally gay-friendly, I think queer is appropriate for those that wish to say it. Way better than saying lifestyle.
