Where can I book a short notice flight for cheap? I'm flying from Los Angeles to NYC (JFK or LGA) veryyy soon [maybe Newark if it's cheaper] and I'd like to be in New York either Thurs. April 27 or Fri. April 28, 2006.
Orbitz.com is $630 + up JetBlue is $600 + Are there any online travel coupons? Student travel discounts? Anything? Travel sites with low fares on short notice? Any help would be appreciated.

name your own price on expedia.
How short notice are we talking about? Sometimes the shorter the better, because they want to just sell the tickets that haven't sold sometimes. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Airfare has gone up lots in just the last month or so. It's serioulsy dampening my travel plans for the year. harrumph. |

Well, I have to be in New York City for an after 3 p.m. business (either this coming Thursday or Friday 4/27 or 4/28). With expedia, do you recommend booking ASAP or a few days before?

Try Kayak.com.It's not name your own price, but they have all the possible flight prices so you can compare. Lots of bargains. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

www.jetblue.com do it over the computer its way cheaper than those other sites. Go straight to the airline online...thats what I do when we need to go to Puerto Rico at short notice and we usually get a ticket for the highest of 200 bucks...not bad at all.

My sister swares to booking with Expedia within a week of the flight. What she does is have her son go one and then "name your own price" they start out very low and keep raising the price until it is enough. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
