WOLF CREEK: 90 MINUTES OF MY LIFE I WILL NEVER GET BACK OOOOOH..i am so fucking mad. i kicked myself for not seeing this "great" movie while it was in the theaters, so i wait for this dvd to come out, go rent it and....
THIS MOVIE IS SOOOOO LAME! it's right up there with Open Water and Blair Witch Project as incredibly hyped movies that leave you sitting there wondering did you miss something that everybody else got. 60 minutes of talk and 30 minutes of dumb horror film cliches (not gonna spoil it for anybody still planning on seeing it, but there's got to be a union of actresses out there who apply to do illogical roles in horror films)....i rented it for $1, and i'm mad and feel overcharged...so that should tell you something you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

A fucken waste. The "horror" is supposed to be that all these people disappear in Australia etc. Too bad it totally didnt translate the terror into the film.
At least HOSTEL had the SMOKIN Slovic women.

It's okay but completely over-rated and a little pointless (and cliched). When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

i never understand how people shoot the villain (non-fatally, of course) and then hit him ON THE BACK WITH THE BUTT OF THE SHOTGUN, and then lay the gun right next to him. if you're gonna be that dumb, at least sever his fucking achilles tendon with THAT BIG ASS KNIFE IN HIS HAND, so at least he can't chase you. you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

i thought the film had a great premise..great build up and then it ended...
what happened to the rest of the film? then i read the about the true story and sure enough there was soo much more to what actually happened..i know this was just inspired by actual events but why in the world make the film so anti climactic? the mood, acting and cinematography were great though.... Space for sale...

BTW...how long do camcorder batteries last? i mean this chick just starts playing videos like she's at circuit city you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

"Inspired by true story".....
People have got to realise that the writers were inspired by some true events but this is NOT a true story. It is based upon 2 killers: 1. Ivan Milat --- Who was convicted of killing 7 people, mostly backpackers, after picking them up hitch-hiking. He actually didn't operate in the outback but picked up his victims on a highway in country New South Wales that has thousands of cars on it a day. He did take his victims to a remote forest location where he murdered them. He didn't keep them for days or anything. He was eventually caught when one guy got loose from being tied up in his truck and ran off. There are suspicians he may have had other victims that have not been discovered but he wont say anything. He is serving life in prison. 2. Bradley Murdoch --- Who was only 6 months ago convicted of murdering British tourist, Peter Valconio. He actually committed his crime in the outback. He is a speed freak weirdo who waived down the car being driven by Valconio and his girlfriend. They lent him assistance which was a mistake. He tied the girlfriend up and took Valconio off in the bush and presumedly killed him (the body has never been found). She managed to get free and escape. He was eventually charged and convicted on DNA blood evidence. He has appealed. The character of Mick Taylor is an amalgam of the above 2 killers who are no longer at large. Australia is not full of uncaught serial killers roaming the outback in search of prey. However, the outback is a dangerous place due to its extreme conditions and is no place for amateurs without adequate supplies and reliable vehicles! When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
