I'm so excited! The delivery company called me around 8:15 this morning and told me that the delivery men would be here within 20-30 minutes. The delivery men showed up at around 8:40, and took out all my old, ugly furniture, and brough the new stuff in. The new furniture looks so pretty, I can't stop looking at it. I'm like a little kid at Christmas.

Really? It took a little bit of talking on my part to have them take my other stuff away (actually, they took it outside and put it by the curb, which is okay, at least it was out of here). I live in a condo, so I called the condo association and asked them if they would take my old furniture down to the curb, and they told me no. I then called the city hall where I live and asked them the same thing, and got the same answer. So when I called the furniture delivery company to have them bring the new stuff, I explained the situation to them, told them I was in a bind, and asked if they could please take the old furniture down to the curb. I had to pay a little more to have it done, but it was well worth it. Then I had to call city hall back to let them know it was out there and to please come pick it up (had to call them twice, but that's another story in itself. ).

All in all, it worked out well, and I'm really happy with my new furniture. The house looks so different with the new stuff in it; I love it!

If I want to dump old stuff, I just leave it in the lobby and after half an hour or so, it magically disappears!
