when i was in college, they used to make veggie whoppers for me - all the fixins, even cheese, toasted bun - only with no meat. fifty cents.
for a broke vegetarian college student, these things were like the best lunch in the whole world. on a good day i could get two veggie whoppers, small fries and a soda with free refills for the rest of the day.  | |

So your not a strict vegetarian..the fries are cooked in beef tallow..the cheese hopefully from milk... | |

So your not a strict vegetarian..the fries are cooked in beef tallow..the cheese hopefully from milk... well, the nice people at the student center wendys told me they did their fries in vegetable oil, and i just decided to believe them...though these days i've become far more suspect, if for no other reason, it keeps me away from fast food joints. the cheese i can eat cuz i'm a vegetarian and not a vegan. so nyah. i'm a strict vegetarian but i'm always learning new things i can't eat or that i should watch out for. after 17 years, it's not a matter of being picky or being overly principled - it's more a matter now of not making myself sick.  | |
