I rented this movie the other night after all the hype, expecting it to be at least "ok," and I must say I thought it was about the worst movie I've seen in a long time.

You're not alone in liking it; it got alot of great reviews. But I thought it was stupid from the first scenes. The ENTIRE family coming into the little girl's room when she'd had a nightmare. The completely gratuitous "69" scene. It was just dumb to me.

I guess I thought it'd be better, too. The man lying on the floor in the diner - that to me was the grossest scene of any movie scene I've witnessed in a while.

I thought the acting was okay. This movie certainly made me want to read the graphic novel on which it's based!!!!

This is the only American movie with a 69 sex scene. Pretty ridiculous...all movies should have at least one...and a beaver shot.

For the first 85% of that movie this was me: excited

The last 15% I was like yawn

At the end of it I was pout

Thought about going to see it. Didn't. I'm not much for movie violence unless it's cartoony like in a superhero flick, But I am a Viggo fan. I don't think I missed much though. lol

the ending left a little to be desired...Viggio Mortensen was miscast, but he did the fight scenes well
