Thats an odd one because deliberately not showing you attention is like showing you constant attention if you know what I mean. anyhow its not my cup of tea

I think women (speaking for myself) prefer a middle ground, those two are extremes. If somebody immediately makes you feel like the centre of their world I get a bit suspicious maybe Brits are a bit too cynical

Um, MUSCLES aren't listed. That really attracts me. It's a little different than athleticism/active, which is listed. I relate muscles to masculinity and inner strength (because it takes discipline, hard work, strong will/mind, etc).
Secondly, INTELLIGENCE. This is just the quality I value in any human being. I don't get how humor is so appreciated, if a guy is always joking and trying to get me to laugh, I think of him as immature.

It makes it hard to get together. |

polite that's what i'm looking for, if that's what u mean with pay attention in inverted commas Well, I did start off saying in the first post "I'm not asking which two characteristics you're looking for the most"...lol...it's more a question of what type or kind of guy you tend to gravitate to the most, and picking two of the characteristics from the list to define that "type". By the way, the two characteristics listed on the other message board site I got this idea from were "cockiness" and "sense of humor"...humor ranks high on this site so far, but cockiness isn't making a dent...lol
