SCREAM REALLY LOUD Pee Wee Herman fans!

July 18th...

"the pee wee herman show", the stage show which predates the pee wee movies and pee wee's playhouse, when the character was becoming a cult hit, is coming to dvd!

FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY (and NOT for kids)!

you are correct!

phil hartman (who also co-created the pee wee character, co-wrote the first movie, and was on the first few seasons of playhouse) plays Kap'n Karl, and does a hilarious song called "sailors always wash their hands" (if i recall correctly.

eddie mcclurg, most famous for her role as the scholl's secretary in ferris beuller, plays a lesbian wilderness woman.

the original jumbi and miss yvonne are also in it.

Edie Mcclurg is genious!!!!

I can't wait to see this, I don't think I ever have. I even thought PeeWee's Playhouse "went there" every once in a while.

she is, and it did.

i am a big fan of playhouse, but this beats the hell out of playhouse in my opinion. far far funnier and more adult.

and edie is HILARIOUS in it. she palys a lesbian wilderness woman with cookskin hat and fur coat, who lives up the mountain and is in love with miss yvonne.
