Fruity Pebbles

TOTALLY MY favorite cereal. I like them to be a little soggy. Then I get a big fat spoonful, put it in my mouth and suck out the milk. A complete ritual for the F.P.

This thread is reminding me of Barbra...

Memories...
light the corner of my mind
misty water color memories
of the way we were....

I do that to!! I don't remember when I started doing it though.

ME THREE! Not as much anymore, but I always did as a kid. I remember sitting on the stairs of my childhood home, reading People magazine from back to front as soon as we got home from the grocery. Either of you left handed? I always thought that was part of why I did it. Or maybe I really did read Hebrew in a previous life. Quien sabe?

Something I still wish I could do is to get Vanilla ice cream, whip it real good until it's soft serve then scrunch up Frosted Mini Wheats and mix it in.
Yum.

I can't anymore.....fart

i only do that in the movie theater, and only with Coke.

also, in the spirit of my jukebox brain, whenever I see or Red Vines, I sing "Red, Red Vines" a la UB40. i worked at an AMC theater back when that was a hit and used to sing that as i was stocking the candy case.

I can TOTALLY HEAR YOU SINGING IT IN MY HEAD! Awesome. lol

Coke via Red Vine is good too. I don't often have Coke around, and even less often do I have Red Vines, but when the two are in the same place, man, that's a partaaay. geek

i'm a little disappointed that they now MUMMIFY the cookies in a thick coating of icing, rather than just little bits of outline, but hey...i can adapt.

I was about 6. i was at JC Penney's with my mom, sister and brother. there was a display of TV inspired beach towels, of which we each got to pick one. my sister got Star Trek and my brother got Welcome Back, Kotter. And I chose Farrah Fawcett-Majors as Holly in Logan's Run. Problem was, the Farrah towel was like $2 more than the others. Mom said no. I wasn't having it. After screaming and crying more than a bit, I got my towel! wink

And I really wasn't the screaming, fit throwing type. But it WAS Farrah.

Every time we are out camping, I want to sing this song from my Girl Scout Days.

Someone's laughing, Lord, kum ba yah!

I'm sitting at my desk at work drinking water through a Red Vine straw (for anybody who lives in Red-Vine-free region, it's a hollow red licorice rope -- you can bite off both ends and use it as a straw), and it just got me thinking. smile
