My Crazy Crack-Head Neighbours (Part 672)

They've installed cameras around our building!

I was walking home from the pub and I saw the Crack-Whore-Bitch and Barry-The-Bisexual-Burglar dangling out of a window.

I asked what they were doing and they asked me to stand to the left whilst they adjusted their zoom! If anybody should be installing CCTV, it should be me!!! mad

God knows what's going on upstairs but whatever it is, it better not interfere with my sleep.

I think she's expecting trouble... The front door of the lobby is usually open all hours for her 24/7 retail operation - but tonight, it's locked.

I'm just going to go to bed with cotton-wool in my ears.

Justin, the way landlord tenant law works in the states, a tenant cant make any additions/subtractions to a rental property without permission. That means they can't add these cameras without the landlords say so. Why not call up as the town office of building inspection, and ask the landlord why the cameras were put up without applying for a permit..let the landlord deal with it then

Well, when I came home from work today, I was a little more sober than I was last night smile

In broad daylight, I tried to see what they'd actually installed and where exactly... Well, I can't see anything: No wires; Nothing resembling a camera lens; Nothing.

I'm not going to make a fuss if whatever it is they're up to keeps them happy and doesn't bother me...

More annoyingly, all the recycling bins from inside the lobby have today disappeared! Who would steal huge plastic recycling bins? Where am I going to put all my empty bottles, jars and cans now?

Maybe the two things are connected - but who knows?

eek This is starting to sound more and more like 'Twin Peaks' by the moment! Justin, If you come across a red velvet room with a backwards speaking dwarf in it, run like hell.

When I saw that they'd installed cameras on your building, I assumed you were going to say it was the Police that had installed them!! It really does get more exciting! Good luck!
