Shausler recorded a HIT song! I just got it by email today - Shauslers recording of the song Scififilmnerd - the lyric, which he wrote himself, has been on my profile page for years and now it has been recorded by himself singing along with a guitar. The mood of the song fits both the lyric and me perfectly. There's a bit of a rock-feel to it, and I love rock music. I'm telling you, Bob Dylan or Gorillaz couldn't have done it better! Nope. Shausler's vocal is amazing - from a starting urge to stress the importance of "my voice being heard", building to a chanting crescendo, before dropping to a melancholic repeat of the chorus as the song fades out. And all that in just 2:18 minutes! I'm telling you, this is the greatest honor ever to befall me as an orger (except getting copies of - uh, someone else's music from Gooey and Justin and Pandurito and Cynthiasocks), but to actually have a song about ME, and it being not just good, but GREAT too... Thank you, Shausler. I LOVE you! You've made my day. (Okay, "week", then.) (No, wait, make that "my month".) ("Year"?) Lotsa

Gosh, I wish you all could hear Shausler perform Scififilmnerd just like I am hearing it right now... I'm sure, once Shausler's debut album comes out, Scififilmnerd will be the Top 10 hit single. It really IS that good! (Or am I just being prejudiced because it's about me... NO!) It really IS that good.

Man, I just can't stop listening to it... We all knew he can wax poetic, but imagine that he is also a gifted rock artist! [Edited 4/14/06 2:40am]

Oh, I forgot to mention some here, like Boris and that guy who sent me a Come-thread related CD-ROM (I've forgotten who it was), but you all know who you are and it was an honor, too. [Edited 4/14/06 3:15am]

ok, see now, i thought for some reason that these were supposed to be secret songs..... like maybe it was a secret for each orger on a different day or something, i guess i was confused again.
i got a song a few days ago now that is SOOOO GOOD !!!!! i will hold on to that one for quite some time - it says the nicest things about me.... made me blush anyway, Shausler is a very talented man for sure, playing the guitar and all. thanks again sweetheart, you're wonderful One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111
