on this the eve of momma's arrival .... im so excited 
shes in chicago now with my sister on her way down from michigan... she will be in tomorrow at around 6ish. so, i give her my bedroom every time she comes to town.... im thinking since my bed is so big (the headboard i mean) its all mirrored and goes up almost to the ceiling... how about if i put a bunch of cute pictures of her kids and grandkids up there for her to see while shes here  then i think i'll get her a thank you card for all that she does and for making the trip down here again, it cant be easy - but she does it every few months to come back and be with us for a week or two.
her arrival dinner is ... homemade meatballs and pasta a fantastic salad with all the extras fresh green beans garlic bread and homemade cheesecake with raspberries sounds good, huh ? 
im thinking of grabbing a bottle of wine..... any suggestions with an Italian meal ??? (im not a wine kinda gal at all - and i FOR SURE dont like that kinda wine that makes your mouth feel all dry and bitter  )
im sooooo excited

I like Merlot, you can find ones that aren't dry.

i guess you can just walk in and ask at the liquor store, right ? surely they will point me in the direction of a good merlot a wine store you can tell what you are cooking, what you like, and what you want to spend they should be able to do that at a liquor store with a good wine selection also. :OjitheFanKeybumpersticker: | |
