It's weird when it happens. I can sometimes go into a room and say "Hmmmm, there's a homo in here."
Sometimes it's just clues when you talk to someone. Certain obvious use of words or a flirtatious attitude usually sets my gaydar off. it's subtle clues in dress, speech patterns, body langauge and mannerisms. i think the more time you spend around other gay people the more clues you naturally pick up without realizing. Gaydar only works when the other WANTS to let you know he is guy. See Huff's post. I mean, I always thought I was quite good at it, but if a guy does not check you out BACK, he might just be shy. |
