recomend some childrens programmes

im going to buy my wee boy the clangers on dvd cos i just know he'll love it-dont want to get too retro though

whats some good educational thought provoking kids programmes out there at the minute?

of course being nearly 3 and a wee boy he loves dinasours!!

i don't have kids but i read that Thom York from Radiohead
got his son Noah the dvds of a childrens series called The
Bony King Of Nowhere, which from his description sounds an
awfull good program.

I especially love those two. The music on Backyardigans is just so great - lots of jazz and afro-american styles, to my ears. And something about Max and Ruby is really relaxing to me - maybe it's Ruby's voice. Always getting Max out a jam lol

i just love how max always looks so evil when conspiring what 2 do next

and whenever my lil neice settles down to watch backyardigans, i always take a break from whatever i'm doing to watch with her too nod
