Alias returns tonight!!! Woo-hoo! The final run of Alias begins tonight with a 2-hour show, from 8-10pm on ABC - they have promised that these final 8 hours (over 6 weeks) will not be a disappointment. I for one cannot wait.
Where are the other Alias fans in here?

i'm a lapsed alias fan. i was with it 100% for the first two seasons, then it got really disappointing. i'm probably going to wait for the final season to come out on dvd, then catch up on the last two seasons via netflix.

Yeah, season 4 was terrible, and my attention went to Lost (along with half the crew of Alias' attention too). I have refused to give up on Alias, though, and this season has really got back to what made Alias good (perhaps because it was the last season and they have nothing to lose by going all out and taking risks). In other words, when you're catching up on Netflix, have patience and don't give up.

From what I hear (and I've been steering clear of spoilers as much as possible) Rambaldi is involved right up until the final episode of Alias, despite an apparent resolution at the end of season 4. I read something yesterday from JJ saying he'd never intended Rambaldi to become such a central part of Alias. I would guess the interest in Rambaldi by the fans is a large reason for all the 'mythology' in Lost, though.

That's exactly how I feel. I loved the first two seasons and then suffered through a couple mediocre seaons before I gave up. Haven't seen anything from this year, but I might tune in for the last few episodes.

So no-one else is watching this show with me tonight? No wonder it's being cancelled...
