My little MRI story:Prince related

So today I had to go get a MRI for a certain health concern and normally I'm really cool about medical stuff but this was a little weird.

I know now I never want to be buried alive for any reason (and who would) because you get a little freaked out. So while I was taking this test, they gave me some headphones and turned on some music because the machine is very loud. So while i'm in this tomb, I'm starting to freak out a little bit. You can't move and you have to go through all this breathing stuff. So said a little prayer. I was like, "Ok God, I'm about to freak out. uh, can you do something please? Calm me down."

Then all of a sudden I hear the beginnings of "Black Sweat" enter the headset.

I just said,"Big up God!" and started singing in my tomb.

That's cool. smile

My aunt had to have that test done, and she had to be sedated because she was so freaked out by being enclosed in that machine.

Good luck re: your test results.

it is a freaky thing....luckily I'm so tall that if i looked back I could see the ceiling so it made it less freaky.

Cool story! thumbs up!

The same thing happened to me a little while ago, except it was in a supermarket, I was under a pile of soup cans and the music was Barry Manilow.

Wait, that didn't have a happy ending. shake

What a cool story! woot! I know what you mean about MRIs, I had to get one done once, and it was not pleasant. They gave me a shot so that they could put some dye into my veins so that they could see something more clearly. I was told ahead of time that I could have an allergic reaction and start coughing, and sure enough, that's exactly what happened. lol What made it worse was that the technician kept telling me to "lay still". Well shoot, how could I lay still when I had an irritating tickle in my throat that was making me cough? lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
