Chicago Peeps, Where U At? Question About U're City

What's a must see on a quick weekend trip?

I have a 10 and 8 year old...

We have heard about your Aquariums and Museums...would you
recommend one over the other? Navy Pier? Children's Museum?

What's a good place to stay?

I could look online, but I know some folks that live there...YOU!
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

the shedd aquarium and the field museum are very near by each other...you could make a day of it.

if it's a nice day, check out the lincoln park zoo. i love it there, and it's free!

as for where to stay in the city, i'm not really good at suggesting accommodations. i'd just check out an online discount hotel site or something.

We've got a Greektown here in Detroit too...AND...my fave restaurant here is called Pegasus...you've got one there too! It's wonderful! GOOOOO! This time of the year all of the restaurants and cafes open their store fronts to the street...it's just gorgeous.

I would also recommend the Adler Planetarium, just past the Field Museum.
