MOVIES: guilty pleasures...

Movies soooo cheesy but you were to young to know it and as an adult you FUCKIN love it!

What's Up, Doc? (Barbara Streisand, Ryan O'Neil)...And actually it's still pretty funny..lol...not TOO much guilt in enjoying that movie. But the first time I saw it I think my dad took me to see it...and I cracked up constantly at it as a kid... lol..and Madeline Kahn was fucking hilarious.. lol

I had the biggest crush on Barbara Streisand after that movie... redface

Maybe it was the nose...lol hmmm

All my guilty pleasures have been acquired during my adult life...

Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls.

It doesn't really get going until after an hour. Up until then, it's a kaleidoscope of outsider-cinema; melodrama; nudity; Hollywood gloss; Grindhouse and swinging sixties grooviness. After an hour or so, it becomes a slasher film with kinky elements. You'll never see anything like this again in your life. It's fucking bizarro.

Double Agent 73.

Chesty Morgan lip-syncs her way through the film as if she's overdosed on ketamine. Preposterous from start to finish. The most un-erotic display of female flesh ever filmed. Chesty's dirty pillows look like huge vein-ridden testicles. The director, Doris Wishman seems to have a foot-fetish too. There's numerous close-ups of feet, for no good reason at all. Elements of this film inspired 'Kill Bill', but this is the more enjoyable film. I'm not joking.

Showgirls.

Everybody knows this one. This is the moment when I realised that John Waters had been surpassed and made redundant by Hollywood.

Torch Song.

Joan Crawford camp-fest. I only saw this for the first time recently. She's basically playing herself throughout the film, in a succession of garish technicolor set-pieces.

What the...??? omfg

mad

Who are these idiots??! One of my all-time favourite films! worship

I love Dottie Hinckle. lol

My guilty pleasure is this straight-to-video film called 'Fire, Ice & Dynamite'.

It stars Roger Moore as some rich businessman who fakes his death and sets up a Gumball Rally-type challenge called 'The Megathon'. falloff

It's set in Europe and has this appalling cast including Jennifer Rush and Buzz Aldrin. AAn unbelievable amount of product placement too.

It's absolute RUBBISH. smile But once one mate in particular and I start watching it, we're absolutely howling with laughter. lol

And I once tried to get my friend Becky to watch it but - halfway through - she was literally begging me to stop it. evillol

A classic!

well what is bad really? It has Aerosmith, Steve Martin, vocoder robots... when I saw it as a kid, I wasn't familiar with the Beatles, so i marveled at how this movie had the greatest collection of songs I had ever heard... it seemed miraculous.
