Remember checking identities of people? You would have to "finger" them. when I was at uni we all had workstations hooked up to a computer in the next room that we never saw with HD space allocated each (which people were always running out of and hacking into other users for space). When we wanted to print something we put it in the queue overnight and picked it up on another floor the next day weird huh! | |

My classmate Daryl Munton went on to do big things, CG for Mouse Hunt, Star Wars (he did the underwater sequence in ep.I) | |

I sometimes felt like I was being watched in the main computer lab. That might have been due to the fact that sometimes I was playing NetTrek with one of my friends over a couple of the Macs there when gaming was forbidden in the labs. | |

No, I felt like I was not good enough to be there, not serious enough like my classmates. They took up all our tutor's time, and me being shy, did not demand any for myself. All I had to show for my year's work was a bouncing cat animation that is the most crap thing anyone ever saw | |
