Less than a month ago I had to get my car fixed, so I FINALLY get around to it and put around 700$ into get'n it fixed and all. It's a Mazda 626. It's MY car and I love it. No dents, no scrapes, runs great and all.

Last week, "somebody" took my car to work. (note: this same person totalled a brand new van I paid cash for, running into a drunk driver on the street)
Well, he calls me around noon telling me he hit a boulder on the way to work, so i'm like freakin out because here I just put some money into making my car run all new again.

Anyway, I check the car out when it gets to my house and see there is a big probably 19 inch hole in my front bumper, I see the back bumper is about to fall off. The boulder went through the front exiting the back.

Okay, now i'm like really pissed off. ANYWAY, I take the car in for new bumpers, total for repair and new bumpers is a bit over 1600. Okay but check this out...

They called me last thursday and told me come pick up my car. It's all nice and fixed and looking really good right!?


The next morning, friday, I go drop some paper work off to my accountant, go into walmart to get some food. I'm walking back to my car and some man is standing next to it. As I get closer to my car, i'm thinking "WOW, look at my car, it's nice and fixed and brand new again" .. But then this man ask's me if this was my car. I tell him "yes this IS my car" and he apologises and points to the side of my car and tells me he scratched it .. .. I was like "WHAT" ..

He says he was backing up and hit my car .. It's got dents in the new bumper and side door
His red paint all over it ..

Can you believe this? .. I was so shocked I couldnt even get mad. But I wish everybody would leave my darn car alone

i hope you got good insurance.



seriously though, i hope this "somebody" payed for the repair
cuz if you claimed it from the insurance company they will drop
you some scales on the no claim and you will end up paying lots
more every month.

this is why i never let anyone drive my car. never.

i got rearended but you are lucky, he has insurance
the fool that hit me, has no insurance
he was driving a merc and hit my italian sports car
his front bumper was mashed, the headlights fell out
these little panels popped out
and his hood got all buckled and dented
he had kids and shit in the car
now i gotta pay him a visit,
cos i want my car fixed and he is paying

please if you are driving and you see me, use those brakes,
because i have been hit one too many times.
