It's no different from 6 or 7 when it comes to install.
Easy, quick, and efficient. You may want to determine where to hold the scratch file when you run it for the first time.

Great product. Semi-bordering on bloatware, but bumped up against a Microsoft product, I'd say that statement was a bit harsh. nod

Well I have Illustrator 10, and isnt it like 12 or something?

My friend sent me a copy, but she said its a nightmare to install, so I am not installing it yet, incase I fuck something up..

Bloody hell, scratch files and all that shit.. I can see it just being unopened and getting dusty on the top of my shelf or something.. pout

lol

It's an easy install--no different from installing any other Adobe product. You might as well be installing Acrobat Reader Professional.

Red, honey, I love you--you entertain me. You are always so full of spice and spunk, and I appreciate that. But this threads! AUGH. disbelief

i had it on a disc but it didn't work-dunno why. it would always open up to power point confuse and i could never find the file that allows you to put the codes in so i had a friend of mine just transfer it from his mac to mine.

CS2 is a major resource hog. If you're computer is a few years old, you might want to consider exchanging it for CS instead. I initially installed it on my old computer, which was 1ghz with 768mb of ram. and Photoshop and Illustrator were practically unusable, they would freeze up for several seconds between everything I did. Some people speculated that it had to do with the newer interface which is a little more stylized than the flat tabs and buttons in previous version. They also said it had to do with the revised Adobe Bridge part of the package. I dunno.

I'm running it now on a 3.2ghz with 2 gigs of ram, and it runs fine. It's a little sluggish when it first loads up, but after that it's smooth sailing.
