Aww, A Deer Walked By My Window Just Now ...in broad daylight, which is unsual, since they mostly come out at night. I live on the second floor, and he walked by and looked up at me, like, "Oh, hello there!" Now there is another deer is is standing right on the edge of the woods and the grass, looking up at me. I can tell he wants to walk on the grass but is afraid that something is going to happen to him. Poor little guy. One of my cats is sitting in the window, and they're playing a staring game with each other. Animals are so cute with the things they do. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Living on a busy road, I'm sure a deer would be very few and far between. I complain about where I live, but the one nice thing is seeing all the animals outside of my window. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yes, I dont want the deer or any animals really to come near my house! Unless theyre on a leash I was amazed to find out recently that there are wild deer not too far from here, outside the city in woods actually. I just didnt think they'd be there! I'd love to see them! I dont think I've ever seen a deer

I think its more the big scary ones with massive antlers that are around in Scotland, and I mean females as well of course, but then I dont really know...

I just added a pic above for you to check out. Some deer do have big antlers, I would hate to have one of them charge at me. Yikes! RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yep looks like Bambi to me Or at least the Dad...or whoever the big scary male deer was...I was shown that film when I was 5 against my mothers wishes have never watched it since and am still scarred! When you said there was a deer in your garden I automatically thought you meant one of the big massive ones! I wouldnt want that either!

Ex-Moderator | I was recently in northern Minnesota for a little weekend getaway and we saw about a zillion deer all along the way. It was a gorgeous drive up the northern coast of Lake Superior. I forget that there are places that beautiful in Minnesota. My parents (who are still in the house I grew up in) occasionally get deer in their backyard. When my parents moved into the house there were still only dirt roads there and lots of vegetable farms. The little town has grown up into a bonafide suburb, though, now and so much has been built up around it the animals are being chased away. |

My hometown still sometimes gets deer all the way into the downtown area on occasion!
Last year my father was very annoyed because the deer from the outskirts of town, who live along the river's edge, started coming into town in search of food and they would get into his backyard and eat his flowers. It's not as if my folks live in the boonies, either, so I was surprised the deer had come that far into town. My folks sometimes get raccoon and the occasional skunk wandering through the backyard, as well.
