Borders..Books-a-million, Barbes and Noble...they all have a plethora of books..but dang, they let you stand there and read the whole newspaper or magazine, or they let you sit down and read the whole damn book WITH a cup of $3.00 coffee...so who actually is buying the goods? that's like letting people sample all the food in the restaurant and then leaving without paying

Most mega bookstores make money with those 25 cent movie booths in the back!

There are many many people, like my wife, who collect books and shit like that. She buys all kinds of stuff from those type stores. They make money by reducing the costs by being a megastore.
