What's so great about the area you live in?

What's so great about the town or city you come from? What should we look out for when we're there? Sell your city to us...

sigh Dublin and environs. What can I say, it may be a shithole, but it's my shithole, and I love it.

Nothing! It rains all the time and it's inhabitied by yuppies, nerds, and nerdy yuppies! Plus, it rains all the time! Stay out! mad

You may have heard about the Puget Sound, Mt. Ranier and the rest of the Cascades, long stretches of serene beach along the Pacific, the Hoh Rainforest, Eastern Washington wine coutry, the Columbia River gorge, and a certain smart, progressive, hip, urban center called Seattle. . . coffee and music, orcas and ubergeeks. . . lies! All lies! California is just a few hundred miles to the south, keep going! mad

Now, I'm going to go for a walk. It's sunny and beautiful outside.

I mean, except for the RAIN. mad

That's awesome! My cucumber hypnosis has taken effect.

The era of the cucumber has begun!

I am thinking of starting a cucumber farm. The area I live in has fertile ground in which to grow cucumbers.

Wait. Do cucumbers grow on trees or come from the ground?

chicago gets on my nerves a LOT, but the last time i went to NYC, i couldn't believe how much i'd changed, and how much i would be happy when i got back home...i had a good time in new york, but i think i'm finally accustomed with the pace of chicago now, and it feels like home to me.
