have been on a big kevin smith since reading these. went and bought the two disc versions of dogma and j&sbsb last night on my way home from work. when i got home, i listened to the strike back commentary, and noticed jay nodding off and he said he was gonna go pee and was gone like 20 minutes, and i thought that he might have been using when it was recorded.

read part 7, and i was right.

sad.

I don't know what to feel more sorry for. The fact that he has had a terrible drug problem or that he was jumped by Nicole Ritchie and did it with her.

I met both of them when they were in Toronto filming the Degrassi episodes. Cool guys.

I like most of Kevin's movies as well and he has a great website where he gives a run down of his daily routines. The only part i don't like is when he describes sacktime with his wife. Too much info. And when he gets sappy when he talks about her. And it's not as if she is even a babe or anything. The way he talked about her i was expecting a raving beauty. And she's isn't. other than that i think Kevin is cool.

I'm no Kevin Smith fan (and before anyone gets any ideas, it has nothing to do with anything he said about Prince), but these blog enteries are an interesting read for sure.

I have two loved ones very close to me who have been struggling with addiction for a long time, and neither one of them has beaten it. It's so sad and frustrating, but definitely good to know that there are folks to beat it and stay clean.
