I'm looking for jobs out of state...any suggestions?

The economy here in Michigan is really, really bad...people being laid off and the job market sucks.

I'm considering looking for work out of state...any suggestions? Is the economy booming where you are?

oh. That's better. I wasn't sure what your skills were outside of what I get secondhand from JerseyKRS.

I can check job-connect at my company and send you a link.

My company is everywhere. So you pretty much have your pick except the west coast, and we're going to be buying one of those companies soon too I think.

Hi applekisses. hug Girl, don't move to Cleveland, Ohio, it's the same thing here. Before I got this job, I was SERIOUSLY thinking of moving down south. People tell me the economy is great there, and there are jobs galore. Not sure if you're open to moving south, but that was a suggestion I thought I would throw out there. smile
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

very good.

and yes, but it depends on where in the city you live. manhattan - very insane
other 4 boroughs - not nearly as bad. we pay 1400 for a 2 bedroom minutes from manhattan on the train

that seems high for not ny.

shrug dunno thoguh, ny has screwed up my sense of pricing.

the cool part is it is all relative. apartments are expensive, but unless you live outside of nyc, there is no reason to have a car, and that's pretty much the rest of the apartment money right there.

Detroit has a pretty high standard of living...folks have made lots of $$ off of the auto industry here (until recent years).

PPS - I'll refer you, too. Let me know if you wanna submit a resume and I'll get your referral in. I think I get a pretty big bonus if I get a referral hired, and I'd totally split it with you. smile

Here in Phoenix Arizona, we are growing. Plus the weather is beautiful. We are close enough to drive out to Callie if you so chose to do so. Many many, entertainment companies are starting to do stuff out here. A Google and a Ebay office are opening here.

I have also lived several other places, and I am great at moving across country. biggrin ask me sometin.
