Who owns some type of iPod? Who Doesn't?

I've just realized at the gym that 1/2 of the people in there own a music player and most of those own some type of Apple iPod.

For thoseo f you who own one, what type?
What is your level of satisfaction with it?

If you don't own one, what is the primary reason you don't?

I'd say about 80-90% of folks I see at my gym have one too. I don't.

pout

Only cause I never seem to buy one. I'm still living in CD land.

i do have 3 mp3 players tho, but they're just the
simple kind. 128 mb and such lol. that's all i'll
need at the gym anyway.

what am i supposed to do with 4000 hours of music
on an mp3 player?

i have 10,000 hours of music in my home, on my
pc and various other sources.

when i leave the house i only need one or two
hours worth of music on me at any given time.

i just change the stuff on the mp3 stick some
2 or 3 times a week.

smile

in other words: i want an Ipod but i reall can
not afford one right now

LOL.

i know what you mean...but when i'm travelling, it's a relief to know i can carry most of my music collection with me, and i can listen to whatever i have a whim to hear at any given moment. even better, i can put my NOMAD on shuffle and it's like my own little pirate radio station. it's worth the investment!

I was thinking the same thing at the gym last night - I don't have one, but I'm putting money aside, and I'll be getting one sometime in the next few months.

Those of you who have them, did you get anything etched in? I'm not sure if I want to or not - I think I do for ID purposes, but then that pretty much rules out ever re-selling it later.

I have a Nano. I don't use it too much other than for the gym or when I go running. I like it, it definitely makes the workout less painful.

I've got two:

A shuffle so that I can run with it, and the 20 GB kind. I love them both. I use it my 20 GB iPod all the time. I have had (2) minor problems with it, both of which were fixed right away and free of charge.

I hate toys, but my wife owns an iPod and a Shuffle. (Is that what they're called??) confuse

I think they're a waste of money, but she swears by them! And we found out we just lost the Shuffle in a U.S. customs check!! mad I'm just telling you so if you hear about us bombing the Cleveland airport in the news, you'll know why.

I own one, the 30GB one but I've never really used it. It's 2 years old and I've used it maybe twice.
