Job Interview--UPDATE

I have a job interview today for a position that will be a substantial promotion. I am nervous and conflicted. I love where I work, the people the work or lack there of. I find I have grown complacent and lazy and when I self nominated for the position I really did not think I would get the call, I hadn't even updated my resume.

wow, I really want the promotion though, it will set me back on track and make me live up to my work ethic again, plus the money will be great!

well wish me luck

confused

ok so I went and they were asking very specific questions about certain forms and processes about shipping freight eek so basically I faked what I could and then asked them why the job announcement was not specific in what type of knowledge was needed for the position. The lead woman made noises about the job description submission process yada yada yada, but as I see it, basically they have some one specific in mind for that position and the questions were for that person.

I am kinda relieved though, it didn't feel right in my gut, usually I am not so conflicted about a new job.

thanks for the well wishes. hug
